Firstly, we must define: What is bourbon? Bourbon is a type of American whiskey, characterized by strict legal standards requiring it to be produced in the U.S. It is aged in new, charred oak containers, and contain no additives. Bourbon can only be produced in the United States of America. This is a result of the 1964 U.S. Senate Concurrent Resolution 19 which formally declared that bourbon was "a distinct product of the United States". Bourbon is therefore an AUTHENTIC AMERICAN product!
What is Bourbon Maple Syrup?
Our bourbon maple syrup is a premium, luxury product made from pure maple syrup produced from maple sap harvested from sugar maple trees and Bourbon. All Bourbon is a distinctly American whiskey and aged in new, charred oak containers. Therefore, by definition all bourbon is aged in barrels.
